CFF welcomes new team member – June 2009

The board is very excited about the recruitment of Svea Pitman in June to the position of Program Coordinator – focusing on the Palm Island relationships and coordination of our programs.  Svea comes to us with both extensive experience running programs on Palm Island, as well as appropriate qualifications.

Svea pitman declares that, "I am very excited to be taking on the position of Project Coordinator with the Catherine Freeman Foundation. Catherine is an inspiration to me and I am looking forward to the opportunities working with her and the CFF board will provide in terms of expanding our projects on Palm Island. I am very passionate about the community of Palm Island, where I lived for almost 8 years, and the Catherine Freeman Foundation has great potential to make significant difference to the lives of people there, especially the children."
